 More about me...

Roonie

I was diagnosed 5 years ago with Multiple Sclerosis.  I am taken an Interferon injection weekly.  Two weeks ago I went into what the doctor called an "acute exacerbation".  A plaque is in the spinal column at T7-8 which is affecting 2/3 of my body with total numbness.  It is very difficult for me to walk because I cannot feel my feet.  I am worried about my family and my home due to the fact that I have been the main breadwinner for a couple of years now.  If the feeling does not come back, I don't know what we are going to do.  The doctor won't release me to work until I can feel things again.  None of the steroid therapy has helped so far.  There has been absolutely no change in these two weeks.  I am concerned about our financial situation.
